Anyone know alot about LCD Monitors?

    Well, everything works great except my used monitor that i recieved

    it turns on, and off, but displays no picture

    i tried it on other computers, and tried working monitors as well, so i know its the monitor

    does anyone have any idea if anything could be replaced to fix this? thanks alot =)

    When you say no picture, what exactly happens? When you plug the monitor in does it say there's no signal? does it enter powersave (usually the power LED will go orange, or start flashing), or is it on, but with no image?

    sorry for the lack of information

    It turns on and then goes into power save mode right away

    It displays an orange steady light instead of the green light

    Is that worse than on in regular mode with just a black screen?

    Well it changes what the problem could be with. it could simply be a case that the cable attached to it is faulty. If you can detach it and use another, try that. If that doesn't work, the processing board inside the monitor is at fault.
