Is the starview 4 firmware different to starview 3

H guys, can anyone tell me if the Firmware for the starview 4 is different to the starview 3?

Would apreciate a little help please? thankyou.

 

YA it is starview 4 is firmware v109 i think and starview 3 is firmware 457 this is for ireland anyways

actually its 1.10 for sv4...a n2 fix.....sv3 is on 4.57 but no n2 fix.

 

well scandalou THAT why said I THINK its v109 !!!!!! but anyways that another problems solved

 

SV4 - v1.07 for uk
v1.10 for Ireland

SV3 - 8.04e

All firmware is in eamos library in the link in my sig.

You cant put the sv4 firmware on the sv3 & vice versa.

 

also check if there is a heatsink under the vents = clone might kill ur box.

 

Thanks for all your help guys! been a big help thankyou! , sorry to be a pain but another litte problem ive got now is-i have a sv 3 ox super ive put the latest firmware on 8.04e but ive lost sky sports news and a copule of other channels? has anyone else had the same problem or is it just me? a little help again please if possible? thanks again!!

 

An autoscan on your provider should get them back for you mikey.

or factory reset autoscan ur provider having removed any splitters first and emu on.
