plz someone help me im only 15, i was playing tekken 5 on my ps3 and then all of a sudden it just turned off, when i try to turn it back on it turns green for a bit, then yellow then flashing red. any ideas plz help
If so, you can supposedly fix it by removing and re-inserting your harddrive.
Now before you do this!!! -- Please take a moment and consider whether or not you have a warranty on your PS3 -- if you do, please, by all means, send it back to Sony and let them professionally fix it. Then you might try the simple remove and re-insert harddrive thing I linked you to.
I personally don't see how it would fix it, but people claim success with it.
I do know that removing the harddrive can't destroy your PS3, but depending on what you do with it once removed, you can loose your saved game data. But lets be honest, I'd rather re-beat all of my games than have a non-working PS3.
No, trust me, this exact same thing happened to my friend about 3 weeks ago, they will asked him for £150, but he asked to speak to the manager. I'm not sure what he said exactly, but they replaced it, and he got his on March 23rd, the UK release date.
