vista install problem

    I keep geting a blue screen that says "a problem has been detected windows has been shut down to prevent damage" It says to disable caching and shadowing but i cannot find that option in the bios or anywhere. the tech info says stop 0x0000000A (0x0000001C, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0x8946ABB1 any ideas

    try re installing, and format the HD to remove whatever is on the computer from the previous install.
