    Hey everyone,

I Built a new rig a while back and while gaming I notice an random popping from my speakers I only get it while gaming with games like Crysis, UT3, Fallout 3 and a few other (that Ive noticed), all are upto date as well as all my drivers. I don't have anything magnetic near the amp. I do need a new bat. backup unit as my old one is done but if it was a serge problem I should hear the popping even while I'm not gaming.

    here is my hardware setup:

    Win.xp sev. pack3
    Ga-MA790fx-UD5P
    AMD Phenom II x4 920
    4gb g skill ram
    Shapire HD 4830
    Proview 19.1 monitor
Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS platinum Pro
2x DVD rom Drives (samsung and lg)
    500gb hd

    Any help is good help.

    thanks.

I had the same problem with my Audigy 2 ZS, I reinstalled the driver and then removed and reseated the soundcard. That fixed it for me.
