    Hello,
I have a pc with windows vista 64-bit and a ati hd 4800 series graphics card. I have it hooked up to my tv via s-video cable. I can watch movies on my pc and they play fine on tv when cloned. I would like to be able to minimize the movie on the pc and watch it full screen on the tv. I was able to do this with my older Nvidia graphics card, but now that I have switched, I can't seem to figure it out.
What settings do I need to change to be able to do this? I have tried changing the settings in Catalyst as far a playback in theater mode, but as soon as I minimize the movie on the pc it does the same on the tv. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

I'm not sure if t his is the way to go, but on my laptop I can configure 2 monitors (right click desktop - settings - ...). One is the main monitor, the other is the VGA output. I can have one document on the desktop and at the same time show a slide presentation full screen on the external monitor.

Check if t his is possible with your video output as well and direct the video to the second monitor.

Select separate desktop for each i think you'll find is the setting, however you may not get a taskbar on the 2ndry device, all you do is drag window over to it,kinda works like span or at least on mine it does, pretty slack really which is why like you i use clone

Thanks for the replies. I used the extended desktop selection and got it working as you sugguested. Thankyou. I had never tried it since someone had told me I needed some software like Synergy, but that wasn't the case.
    Thanks again.
