    how do i find my system ip address

    Its pretty easy.

    Click on the Start/Windows Button at the bottom left corner of your screen.

    Now Click "Run..."

    Then type "cmd" (without the quotes)

    In the new window type "ipconfig" (without the quotes)

    Near the top of the text it displays it will either say IP Addres or IPv4 Address. The IP to the right is your IP.


    OR you could just click on this link but wheres the fun in doing it this easy? :)

    you can also type "ping (name of your computer)" and that will give you IP address as well in CMD

    True, but you if you don't know your PC's name it will be a bit of a hassle though.

    Definetly. I'm not trying to put your posts down just to point out potential conflicts for anyone who might read this thread in the future.

    no that is true. even myself sometimes forget my computer name and have to go into the system info to find it, LOL

    I guess it depends if you want the WAN ip or the PCs ip ?
