SOFTMOD AID!!!!!!

Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

HI
i desperately need help in this one.

i have a ps2 PAL slim black.i already have got a softmod on my memory card using FMCB.i want to know how can i install FMCB on my 2nd memory card .i was thinking of using the launcher from memory card 1 and then plugn my usb in and installing it on my 2nd mc.
i dont know if it will work.

i had my softmod done by another guy who charged me for it...your help is appreciated ...thanks :-)

Yeah that'll work fine for you. Just run the FMCB_install.elf from uLe and install it to your 2nd mc

hey Thank you,im kinda new to this. so no harm can be done to my ps2?no hardware Failure?

so i use uLe and then install everything under m:1/? wont the files from m:0/ be affected? i goT TWO ps 2 consoles slim,same model...SPCH 75004 .BASICALLY DO THE WHOLE NORMAL SETUP AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME NO EXPLOIT NEEDED BCOZ OF uLe?

Yeah exactly right and no the files on your other MC will not be affected as long as you use FMCB_1.8 and choose mc1(slot 2) and i've done a few installs myself and not had, or have heard of, any hardware failures, so you should be good to go with what you have

SO I LAUNCH uLe...THEN GO TO MY BROWSER,THAN GO TO MASS WHICH IS MY USB FLASH DRIVE AND RUN FMCB 1.8 ..SO THEN THE FREE MCBOOT POPS UP AND SELECT NORMAL INSTALL....AND IT SHOULD SAY "2 MEMORY CARDS DETECTED" AND THEREFORE I HAVE TO CHOOSE WHICH MEMORY CARD TO INSTALL IT 2...iS THIS CORRECT?

You got it right on the nose, that is exactly what you need to do but tis better if you choose multi-install because that way you can run it on any model from your region
