    Well unless you have a system with hdmi passthrough I would use spdif for the sound it can be connected to most all sound systems and delivers digital 5.1 sound. Hdtv most all have hdmi so if you get a video card with hdmi that's what I would use for the video or dvi to hdmi at the very least s-vidoe to s-video. I currently have the Foxcon AMD/ATI 780 with hdmi on board bought a spdif bracket on e bay and this mobo without a video card plays video very very well 2gb ram Vista Home Premium we use it for blu-ray, Netflix, hulu, crackle all good no issues.
