    Hi
I am looking to buy a new laptop, could anyone please offer any advice on the best processor to go for.
I have found a couple of laptops which I am considering, but they have different processors - One has an intel Core 2 duo processor T6400(2.0 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 Cache), and the other has an intel Pentium Duel core Processor T4200(2.0GHz, 800MHz, 1MB cache). Are these basically the same, or does one have advantages over the other one?

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks

    Mark

The Pentium Dual Cores are just cheaper versions of the Core 2 Duos. The Core 2s are better, but there's not a lot in it, if the core 2 is much more expensive, buy the pentium, if it isn't, get the core 2.
