Mobo: 7/10 - overpriced and unnecessary for anything but triple-SLI, which is a potential weak spot.
Case: 7/10 - Excellent case, but vast and noisy. Unnecessary for a build of this scale.
ODD: (score irrelevant) - basically the only S-ATA DVD burner left on newegg due to the shortage.
GPU: 5/10 - GTX280 is an old discontinued model. For that price you are better off getting an overclocked GTX275.
Monitor: 7/10 - beware of the resolution - not always ideal for gaming.
PSU: 9/10 - a little noisy but an excellent unit, especially for the price. For this spec, however, a 650W unit would suffice.
CPU cooler: 5/10 - $60 for a cooler twice the size of a $30 cooler that does exactly the same job just as well:

HDD: 6/10 - Seagate have had big issues with their 1TB drives. It's not immediately apparent if they're over that. This drive is a better bet:

CPU: 10/10 - the only i7 to have, superbly powerful, sensibly priced.
    RAM: 10/10 - Excellent memory.

Actually well spotted, I pretty much automatically swap out any zalman for the freezer 7 pro because i only see them for 775 builds. The 9900 has an i7 bracket, the freezer 7 doesn't.

This is my recommended i7 cooler from newegg. Pricey, but it kicks the hell out of the Zalman.
