Help with Hard Drive! OS not finding any when I try to install!

    I tried to install a version of Windows XP and chose to format my hard drive, but not using the quick method. After it formated, the operation blue screened. When I restarted the PC, I tried to re-install the OS. But there were no hard drives found, when I have a 750 gig hard drive. Is there anyway of saving the hard drive?

    does the bios see the drive? is the drive a sata or ide connection?

    The drive's manufactuer should have a tool on their website that is capable of scanning & fixing the drive.
