hello i am new here and i am also new to psp 3000. i read that one can play games without a UMD(which is quite expensive). can someone please direct me to procedures in doing about this please. please remember that i am really new to this and please spell out the meanings at first instead of giving out the shortened words.

you need cfw (custom firmware) as i know of, the guide here shows you how to get custom firmware, then i used the network update after this guide to go to 5.00m33-6 i can play iso's (play game without umd)

but for this guide you need a pandora battery (tool battery)

I heard the new PSP 3000 is almost impossible to hack. Well, knowing people, they'll find a way. :)
The best custom firmware you can have, I believe, is M33.
You'll need a Pandora's Battery. (create one, or buy one)
I'm cheap so I made one. I have 3 batteries, so I had to try making one.
Anyways, you also need a magic memory stick.
Google, and Youtube are your friends here.
Google for looking for the software, and youtube for tutorials, and usually they also have links to the software.

Then to download games, use google. :D

the guide in my first post has all the software attachments and is a great step-by-step,
and yea ulrich_92 people do find their ways on hacking lol i hacked a 3000 a few weeks ago.

good going on creating the pandora though you got to watch out because on some models you cant do i lol (i tried with mine)
