downloaded Quake 2x fom a site and unzipped it did the ftp to the game folder changed the default_retail.xbe to default.xbe.i see Quake 2x on the run from hd menu.the game never loads it just goes back to the menu.any ideas?
Patch the default.xbe file with one of the various tools out there that are available. IE: Adr Patcher, Craxtion) Just ftp the defautl.xbe file to your pc, patch the default.xbe, then ftp it back to the folder that you took it from and replace it. Reestart the xbox and see if that works. Once patched just ftp it back.
all programs say that it does not need to be patched.this file (Quake 2x)is only 2.5 meg is this only an upgrade?and if so where can i get the older one?
