Can I take it by the description of the download on Eamo's site ( Dbox Dreambox fix ) that it is definitely for the Dbox ?

I can't get it to run on a dbox but could on a dreambox, try messing around and let us know what happens, I think some people worked it but wouldn't reply how.

Even if it's not a perfect fix for Dbox, we can't be too far off.

There is a way to get it to work i've tried with no joy but got the emu running and the box still has a black screen and keeps stalling. I'm going to keep trying though.

I can't try anything till morning. I'm sure we'll get it and maybe hold out some hope for other box users ( EV , SV , RL , TB , ) . When this all started there was no hope for ANY boxes, Oh yee of little faith .

I wouldn't mind , but some of the boxes aren't that old to be useless, support should last longer than a couple of years.

yup, seems like the manufacturers are getting scabby and just want you to cough up for a new box.

Looks like support for the dBox2 has been dropped but fuggit I'm not buying a new box when there's no certainty how long it'll work or how long it'll be supported

The channels are multi-streaming on n2 and n3 this is only an n2 fix and only a few boxes have been fixed up to date.

We're trying to get it working, some people claim to have it working and one says another cam works but no more info from them so I think they're lying. If it was true they'd tell us how to do it instead of being greedy.

We can try taking lib files from the dreambox onto the dbox etc. to run Hypercam but I want to try not to brick the dbox, it has to be possible somehow.

What image you drop files into mate?
    You just overwrite existing files?

go to var/bin and if a folder named emu is there put mgcamd in emu otherwise put it in bin, the other 2 .key files go into var/keys

    Up and running.

Don't forget to set mgcamd as default and run it instead of evocamd.

Commando/Blade ? Just wondering which one you are using, although I guess it shouldnt matter.
Also, this fix contains key files. Does this mean that on a key change it wont autoroll correctly?

wont matter what image youve got, get rid of everything in the keys folder and FTP the Autoroll and softcam files in.

There has never been a N2 keyroll, doubt any box will autoroll as is.

Maybe Hypercam could and possibly the kryptview emu, but we wont know till it happens.

Which could also be soon, as the N2 keys are now public.
