if the scratch isnt thru any traces or very deep use clear nail polish. did the same to mine and i put nail polish on it let it dry and scraped off the polish with a thumb tak on d0

Ok well i am not sure what the traces are? Are they the little white lines on the mobo where the signal goes through? If it is , then yes a few are scratched but its not very deep.

i will try some nail polish lke you said, nothing to loose.

as long as those traces/little lines arent cut thru the nail polish should do fine

    good luck

Ignore the A$$clowns. Goodluck with your mobo. Try asking a moderator directly. They have been around enough to know who to ask or can help directly.

hey dont be so serious i have had every gaming system and yes even an xbox and a ps2 etc but at the end of the day i seem to always come back to using a pc.As to your little prob hiredgoon asked a mate who works in this area and he suggested that the way they fix them is to find where the scratch is and then get some very fine wire and do a solder job on it but he stressed that you better be really acurate or you could damage it more.

you might have to take it to a tech, the guy i know uses high tech magnifyer to see the smallest detail and the wire he uses is super fine.Your other option might be to see if a supplier can just get you another xbox board.Apparenty they are available and obtainable but dont know where you would get one.

    sorry couldnt help more
