not knowing what im doing i lock a hd now i need to unlock i have program unlockx but i cant get pass the post teast cuz its lock i dont have no pass for the hd? i tried to plug it in after the post but then pc dont reconize it helpppppppppppppppppppp :=} have a nice day
The drive needs to be installed on the original motherboard of the xbox that it originally came out of. From there you should be able to use configmagic to unlock the hd. If you no longer have the original xbox that the drive came from and the drive is locked then there is no way to unlock it.
well its not the original hd its is a old 10 gig i had laying around. soon as i lock it with using the auto slayer cd and rebooted it the led now flashes red? gives me the code 8 which has to do with hd errors? any ideas be appretiated thanks :=}
I cant say for sure but if the drive reguardless of original or not was formatted to work in and xbox and then locked, it would still have to be in the xbox it originated from to unlock it. I never locked mine cuz I don't play live so I can't really help you out as I never had that error. Good Luck !

I dont think so. The xbox drive is formatted a certain way that a pc will not read. If the drive was unlocked then it would be no problem to format the drive in your pc. What exactally are you trying to get off the drive, I mean you said that it is only a 10 gig.
