This act will mean, amongst other things, that if you make a copy of a CD that Record Company executives will have the right to enter your home, sieze your assets & freeze your bank accounts.

As far as our industry is concerned, so-called Pirates (which legally means anyone who makes a copy of anything) are funding International terrorism!!!
They are starting to get very serious about this.

I know I keep going on about it, but it is probably the most important act going through at the moment, inasmuch as it will take away all your fair use rights forever.

You are not allowed to transfer from Vinyl to CD. IT IS ILLEGAL. not even for personal use, or fair use.
A ruling has gone through re. the fair use laws. Apparently this is satisfies if you can make a copy. You are not entitled to a perfect copy. IE for copying a DVD for your backup, it is sufficient to hold a camera in front of the TV set. You get the drift???

PLEASE, PLEASE read this piece of would be law.
