hi, i wonder if anyone can help. Bascially i can't playback any of DivX movies on mplayer. I have 3.11 alpha and also 5.02 codecs installed. The only thing that has changed is that i have installed the winXP SP1 update and now have media player 8.00.00.4487 Strangely enough even DivX player 2 alpha doesn't play either?! any suggestions would be great. thanks
It seems that only one of my movies don't work, i get an 'unsupported format' error message with mplayer. I can however preview it in TMPGEnc and it says its an MPEG1 layer 2 video file and i'm sure mplayer is compatible with this format. Any suggestions?
