I tried defragmenting my microsd card today. Nobody ever said not to, so I assumed it was ok.
Now the card is not recognized by anything! I normally use it in my NDS, or my phone. Neither will even acknowledge it. Windows ignores it too.

Reformatting, and data recovery programs aren't really an option right now, since it's not recognized at all! Is there any way at all to make it readable again? This data is all really important.

    Thanks!

Does it show up in computer management? Also, do other cards still work in the same microsd slot/adapter?

It doesn't show up at all, and everything else works in that slot. I've tried switching readers too, it's still totally ignored.

I'm affraid that is about the limit of my expertise...other than something very obvious that you probably already checked: make sure the contacts on the card are nice and clean.
