burning .mpeg files with ner for dvd

    i am very new to this (today infact)

    i have mpeg files and when i go through nero i cant burn these files as i need .bup and.ifo files.

    i have read other parts of this site for help but which software can i use to create these files etc

    any help would be great

    what you need is dvd authoring software,try dvd author(trial version available)link for download on this page:http://www.dvd-guides.com/guides.php?category=dvdauthor&name=tmpegencdvdauthor
    ,and then burn the vobs with nero,try this guide:http://www.dvdshrink.info/nero-video.php

    Hi voodoo85,

    Nero [bold]6[/bold] is shipped with a DVD authoring program: NeroVision Express. It converts your video files to MPEG-2/VOB, creates the IFO and BUP files and burn the whole stuff to a DVD.

    hi thanks everyone for all your help - it came in handy - i tried using the nero vision express but problem with download etc - instead i got a trial verion of 'TMPGEnc DVD Author' which is working great.
