the ss i had with the game and the one 1.5o found both became RED.....so should i get one from the link this tutorial gives and put that in instead of the ss i downloaded with the game?

so i should only merge if it turns GREEN

or can i merge even without the green and hope for best..and burn...and if the game doesnt work...try another merger of RED and hope for the best again?

i've merged with red and with green and without SS...it matters but they've all seem to work..i guess it depends on the game. if you have dvds to waste give it a shot...if not..try to find the same SS...in my opinion it doesn't seem to be mandatory.

Success!!!!

Thanks again for creating this excellent tutorial, wouldn't have been able to do it without this guide, 2 burns 2 working back-ups. Thanks 4 the up. And hopefully soon the mods will sticky this guide to help all noobs like me out.

P.S. 1 question though my back-ups work great but if I ever needed 2 copy the disc again, how do I go about doing this? because after I put the disc in my PC drive and open it up theres nothing there, no image no nothing.

@m0use

download and install dvdinfopro then open it and look in the Drive Supported Write Features area...if it supports writing dual layer discs you'll see a chk next to DVD+R DL.

hope this helps.

I found a better way 2 backup image files, when I'm done using cdclone. with WinZIP-pro. Thanks anyway 4 the cdclone copy cd comment. I can now put my downloaded files on cheap DVD-R instead of wasting my beloved verbatims :)

MistahK. Sorry man I don't know how to extract them back 2 comp. These files were already on my HD and I just wanted to clear up some space on my Drive, and have those files archived just in case I ever needed them again. Maybe some1 else knows good luck.

Just a guess but try doing it with CDClone read the image from the disc 2 HD maybe that would work. Good Luck.
