herrick. I've DONE IT BEFORE AND IT WORKS FINE BUT CAUSES THE PC TO RUN SLOWER SO i DON'T RECOMMEND IT BRO.

burning mupltiule DVDs is no problem though

ill tell ya what... ive just gotten 50 of the digital media (verbatim) 8x+r. these bad boys are awsome. ive burnt about 12 of them so far all got scores of 95(and a 93) but the PIFs have been in the 100 range and a few at 94 for the total... really likeing them...i got them at bestbuy for $10.99 for 25. 22 buck for 50 isnt that great of a deal but i cant find the 8x+r verbs online any cheaper once the tack on the S&H...

i got a few more scans of them im gonna post over at the scanning thread shortly..

That's about the best deal that I've seen in months. ;) I've seen it as low as $47.99 w/ FREE shipping and 200 paper sleeves for 200 discs but haven't seen that deal in forever. :-(

Havent gotten to it yet... we are short at work- so very, very, busy and plus I what to research the best cards for SLI and get rid of my 6600s their way out dated...plus thinking of water cooling not sure on the water cooling though. I sure cant wait and switch out boards, and thanks to you- you made it possable...Now if the world will give me a long enough break I can get to it...its killing me, with all this waiting!

Anyone having luck with the RICOHJPN-R03-04 media?? I've got some but I don't see it being much better than CMC MAG (M01 & E01) at this point. :P If so what is your setup (drive and speed)?

i can't rate RICOHJPNR03 highly enough, though my favourite supplier can no longer guarantee that you don't get CMC MAG D01 instead, been using loads of the M01 lately, they seem to be doing the job...

creaky do you think that CMC MAG is getting better or the DVDRW drives are handling it better? I do remember a day when you said something about not letting that stuff near your drives but I guess when you order as much as you did and don't want to deal with shipping it back you have no choice. ;)

I've been messing with cross-flashing and f/w updates lately and that seems to be producing better results but I wouldn't say less than 100 burns with one drive would indicate a definite change for the better. ;P

You still using the BENQ DW-1650??

I just cross-flashed my LH-18A1P to an LH-20A1P. I'll be checking out later tonight and see what I did...lol

still using the Benq's and a couple new SATA burners, LG GSA-H66N's.. the CMC are doing ok i think though i don't put important movies on them, have been using dozens of the CMC for XBOX game backups lately, they've been tested as far as being using to then install the entire game to the XBOX hard drive, whether the data on the CMC will stay put after a period of time will be the 'burning' question :)

..but the hard drive in the XBOX is fairly new (250GB too!, bonus) so shouldn't be needing to reinstall from the CMC's anytime soon anyhow
