I've got several dvds that don't have any encryption or copy protection and I would like to know how to use Nero to basically copy from drive to drive. These dvds are already been pre-shrunk and are dvd-5.

All I want to do is put the unprotected dvd in my dvd-rom drive and a blank dvd in my dvd burner and make a copy of the disc. Is this possible??

Thanks in advance for any assistance that I might receive.

i recommend not doing it that way though. copying dvds on the fly takes a very fast computer and even then, you still will probably get errors.

Why not just use DVD decrypter ISO read then ISO write. Works a treat and will take about 1/2 hour with a resonably fast drive.

i should have mentioned that it is best not to copy on the fly.......set nero to create a temp image (which it will autonatically delete when done).

i have heard it said copying on the fly can cause probs but i have never had a problem myself.

Thanks for all the replies to my question. I've got a lot of different ideas and methods to consider for making a back up copy of an unprotected dvd.

I've been reading these forums for a few months and you guys are very knowledgeable.

    Peace!!!!!
