my demo of flashFXP just expired, and being the cheap bastard that i am, was wondering if there is a non-expiring freeware comparable alternative to FlashFXP. comparable in the sense of ease in use. my research has lead me to a freeware package called Filezilla. any good or bad points that anyone is willing to share. thanks in advance for any suggestions.

flashFXP should let you keep you using it after its expired. It just countsdown from 30 so you have to wait a while. I've just started using qwix and so far its working fine.

can't see why you'd want to mess with a good thing? flashfxp works great and the cost is small, why take the chance of pulling hair out using freeware? I've tried many of the free ones and while you can eventually get them to work, most don't work that well and don't have good support. But good luck. Hope it works well for you.

thanks for the offer dolemite, took iggi's advise and just waited until countdown. still works.

i did try Filezilla....very very slow. made my xbox dvd drive sound awful. FlashFXP is easy, and quick.

    thanks for the suggestions guys.
