hay im a bit of a newb and i was wondering when install my new hard drive and install slayers will it have the old ms dashbord as well as the new evox dashboard? and will i have to rip any files off the old drive to put on the new? thanks i know they seem like stupid question but i am a newb
install the hard drive--->read slayer's docs thoroughly so you know which option/s to use--->use the slayer's disc to boot up-->format the drive to include installation of apps, then voila!! you're good to go. oh, there is one catch: slayer's apps may not be the latest versions available. you can opt to change it once you're able to connect to a pc. you can also opt to use x-disk installer (assuming you have a large hard drive) instead as it contains more or less the updated versions of the apps. it runs the same as slayer's, so shouldn't be difficult.
