Will intn'l satelite work with a tv tuner card?

    I would like to pick up spanish tv and the sky channels would a Graphics Card allow me to do that and if so where would I find them apart from webtv.com? Also I need it to capture vhs tapes to dvd so I am trying to kill 2 birds with one stone? Plse let me know. Thanks.

    for DVB broadcasts, you would need a DVB PCI or USB card for your PC and a dish aimed at the satellite you want to receive signal from. I do not know if and do not think a DVB PCI card will do normal NTSC or PAL input (only NTSC/PAL output).

    Look for DVB software too, I would start on al7bar.ca, forums.dvbnetwork.com, and mytheatre.phpbbhost.info to start.

    You can get a DVB PCI card on flee-bay for about $100
