Hard Drive Won't Boot

    I have an xecuter mod chip fitted in the xbox and a standard 8gb drive... (the xbox doesn't belong to me, it belongs to some idiot who knackered it as you will see) When the xbox is turned on it displays some message about x2 FTP (big white X) and just sits there. How can I re-install slayers evox onto the drive to get it working. I have the Evox auto installer disc but it doesn't boot up. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

    I'd start by trying to reflash the chip with a working bios.

    Try putting a game disc in see if it boots, if it does then i know what is wrong, theres a bad file on the HDD, you need to make an evox boot disc, ftp, deleate ALL the files on the HDD and send some good files over from a good HDD.
