I have successfully managed to install and run a back up of MOH : RS from my Hd, (Standard,) in my xbox. The problem I am having is the inability to transfer onto DVD.

I always get the dreaded Blue Screen / Dirty Disc error. I have tried using xiso, Craxtion and quix. Burning at 1x, 2x and 4x. But none seem to work.

I have successfully backed up my other 29 games but just can't seem to get ths one to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

No, I'm talking on the xbox for the blue screen.
Like I said, I have it working on the xbox HDD but would really like this game transferred onto disc. (I know it's not the best game so I dont want it hogging all my harddisc space)

Has anyone made a succesful back up of this game? Any help would be appreciated.

Blue Screen / Dirty Disc error.

It has only ever happened in this game. The loading screen flashes on for a split second and then get the "blue screen" that says dirty disc error or something similar.

I have seen it on a thread before for this game but it didn't have a fix for it.

Was just hoping that some-one could help.

I've made a back-up of this game. The strange thing was when I tried it on my mates xbox it didnt run. We left it in there whilst drinking a beer, and then for some reason it started up.

It worked everytime on my xbox - didnt do anything out of the ordinary in backing it up

Are you suggesting that drinking beer helps the games to load? You get loaded while the game gets loaded? ;)
Xbox sales will soar on this news!

Did you get the blue screen on your mates xbox?
Then just left it and it loaded. I must admit, I just get the blue screen and immediatley turned it off.
What prog. did you use to create the .iso?

I do like the sound of just drinking a beer to get it to work though. Do you think it would work with a vodka / red bull?

Naa that aint strictly true - if I remember rightly it booted to the first opening screen and just froze. nothing would work (button mashing) so we left it and it worked.

I used ISO Craxtion and Record Now Max to burn the game.

Aint really played it either as the aiming system is shite

Yeah. I dont play it much either. But don't want to just loose it. It is just taking up so much space on my HDD as I only have the original drive.

I used Nero to burn the game, d'you think that could be the problem? I've not had any problems with it before. (Except any DVD burned at over 2 speed just wont work in my xbox and most dont in my PS2.

Dont know to be honest - I guess it could be but have only ever used Record Now Max for xbox games.

Could it be your media?? If it wont copy and play above 2x speed that may be the prblem - ?

I use Ritek printables. Have been told that Ritek are the best. I have made at least 70-80 back-ups (DVD's, Xbox games) and haven't had 1 coaster yet. So I doubt if it's the media.

I knew of this problem before my first burn though. So I got myself 2 ritek -RW's for the purposes of this game, so I could check without loosing a disc.

Is Record now max a free prog or is it expensive? I have heard of lots of people using it but, Nero 6 has worked fine for me up until now.

This problem is really begining to bug my tits. I'm sure there must be a way around it.

Its freeware for a certain amount of time. I think there is a free download of it on here somewhere.
