new hard drive dont have old hard drive

    quick ? i bought a new harddrive for my xbox that i just chipped. All the tutorials ive read said to copy files from original xbox to new one, well i dont have the original hard drive that came out of the box. Can i just use slayer to install hard drive even though i dont have the files off original xbox.The xbox that is chipped wont need to be ran with the chip disabled because i have another xbox thats stock so i can use that for XLive and anything i need to do on an unmodded box.I've searched but still just about everything i find talks about using original files,so any help would be apreciated.

    You should be able to use slayers, just select the option to set up a new harddrive.

    you definately can put a new hard drive in without transfering files. Just connect your new hard drive and boot up with slayers and use that to set it up.
