divx avi to vob

    if i convert a divx avi file to a vob file does it still remain the same size

    Not if you want decent quality VOB's. Divx uses a much higher compression than DVD mpeg-2. An hour of good quality Divx(1100kbps video/192kbps audio) will take up around 570mb. An hour of good quality mpeg-2(8000kbps video/224kbps audio) will take up around 3615mb. Pretty big difference, don't you think?
