u can only put custom soundtracks in games if they support it like in project gotham racing 2 and madden 2004 not all games have the ability for custom soundtraks

clubfalco... what you is burn an audio cd on a cd-rw.Insert the cd in ur xbox and copy the entire cd or selected track to ur xbox... when you play game that support custom track.. just go option and select title that you choose custom track... that's it..after that u will be listening to your custom track.

i know thats how to do it but after i installed my modchip and evox, i go to the evox dashboard then to the original xbox dashboard and go to the menu like normal to copy the music, but for some reason it wont recognize a cd in it. it would recognize the cd before i installed evox.:(

i wish that was the problem but i even try a real cd, not a burned one, and it wont recognize it in the music recorder.

umm I forget what file format the xbox saves the songs in, but if you look in e:/tdata/fff30000/music you will find your xbox soundtracks. If you have pre-existing soundtracks, then start up your xbox, go to the edit soundtrack tab, and make a copy of an entire soundtrack. Now use flash fxp to look in the soundtrack folder, and the soundtrack you just duplicated will be the highest numbered folder. look in it, and the songs will be named something like 0000001a, 0000001b, 0000001c...ect. Now take songs off your computer and rename them to match exactly the files on your xbox. They must be in the same audio format as the soundtrack files on your xbox too. Then just overwrite the old songs with the new ones.

    hope that helps....

i dont have any songs already on my xbox because i reformatted my xbox with slayers 2.5 trying to see if i could address another issue about kawax because when i would try to load up the program it would just kick me back to the evox dash.. anyways what format does the songs have to be? can i just make those folders? do i have to edit an ini file or such? and if theres any help with the kawax issue as stated a few lines up it would be much appreciated..

    thanks
