xbox;Xenon blueprints leaked

    anyone heard about the "Xenon" blueprint leak?

    yeah but i heard that they were prolly a document with ideas of the next xbox and was made a while back.

    yes, but the word is that is gives some insight on what the next Xbox will be like. they may be a little old but does support the theory that more than one cpu will be used as a whole, the cell prototype being developed by IBM for the PS3. speculation is that the XBOX 2 or Xenon or whatever they're calling it, will once again be more powerful than whatever Sony is cooking up.

    yeah but i know IBM is making chips for all of the next systems coming out not just sony and i don't think there will be a hard drive in there but a tye of internal flash disc type of storage things but eh you'll never know.

    I'm pretty sure there won't be a hard drive in the next XBOX, but instead a VERY large flash drive of some kind. I've heard the military has 40-60 gig flash drives right now. If we fast foward a year and a half or so, those could be available for M$ to use. I think the new systems won't be available till fall 2k6, what do u smarter people think?

    i think too that there will be flash drive storage but thosedrives are currently expensive as ish. i think i read they were like 5 grand or something like that.

    In my latest issue of Mac Addict I read that the xbox next (whatever it's called) will be using IBM's powerpc g5 cpu. Three of them. The mac guys were happy that microsoft games might currently be developing on powermac G5's.
