I have the Xenium 1.0 mod chip iinstalled in my xbox. I installed the evox m7 bios. Now i want to change the dash. I burned the evox iso on a cd-rw but it wont load on my xbox. I followed all the directions ....used quix and nero. I also dont know how to ftp my xbox using a mac os 9. I also have a switch. Can this be done and if so how. I am a newbie at this so please explain in simple terms.

If you've got EvolutionX installed on your Xbox, go to "Settings" under "System Utils" and be sure you assign the Xbox any IP on your subnet that's not being used, this can be any IP that matches your Mac/PC IP with the last octet changed, exp: 192.168.0.5 ("5" is the last octet in this example and the number that needs to be changed). Or, if you have a router or wireless router with DHCP enabled, you can configure EvolutinoX to pick up an IP from your router's DHCP by ensuring "Use Static IP" is set to "No" and "Network Setup" is set to "Yes". Also be sure that you have FTP enabled and the password is set to "xbox". Once all of this is done, you should be able to FTP to the IP listed in "Settings" using any Mac OS 9 FTP program (Fetch, Transmit, etc ...). Ohhhh, also be sure you've disabled any firewalls you have running on your OS 9 system, having one enabled could possible cause problems with FTP-ing (see my thread labeled "Problem FTP-ing to Xbox from a Mac " under Xbox - Software discussion). I hope this helps!

Transmit BLOWS! Use Interachy, much easier and it doesn't blow!
Unless you like that sort of thing.

OS 9 obviously supports all standard TCIP protocols but Software developers have either dropped support for it or will with in the next year. So you all need to migrate over or find yourselves unsupported.
