I have a guy around my place that installs modchips. He has two different ones to chose from Aladin and apple V Are these good chips or are they outdated now? info whould be appreciated.
Personally, I wouldn't get one of those chips but if he installs chips then I would certainly have him do it for you if he knows what he is doing. Otherwise, plan on taking off work or school for a week or at least a couple of solid days.
aladin=most basic chip on the market, it has an off swich so it is xbox live compatable apple=? huh?(feelin confused) ask if it has an off swich, thats all thats really important
yes he will install it, and he told me that it has a switch on it, something to do with the eject button and the power button, i am new to the xbox scene so i feel like a noob asking when i know my stuff on ps2 thanks for the help guys, like i said before i have the choice between those two chips

i got xecuter pro for the same price but i can solder but u can get a xecuter solderless one same price Can. the biggest resone i say xecuter is its popular and xecuter relly partisipates in the bioses and stuff. so its up to u
Thanks for the info Arron, i got the same chip as you installed for 100$ guarented 4 life. I cannot solder worth sh*t, i should learn how though heh Once again thanks for the help on this one!
