I have a samsung v25, I have the correct cable but when connected to my tv nothing happens at all. How do I activate my stv output on my laptop?

On most notebooks you need to set in vido properties to have a TV display from your notebook.
However most notebooks have short cut keys, For Gateway and Toshiba notebooks first connect cable then press Function (Fn key) and F5 at the same time. This will allow you to throw you display to both notebook and TV or just one or the other. The default is Notbook only (which is a good thing).

I to have a v25 and have exactly the same problem.
Ive installed the latest intel extreme graphics driver but there still isnt anywhere in the video settings to direct the output to the tv.
is there some more software reqired?
any help would be app.
