Ok...just got a Samsung HDTV and bought the connector for the Xbox. Every game worked great but then tonight I tried to play both MVP Baseball and ESPN Baseball and they scrambled in HDTV mode but yet when I used my S-Video connection they did not scramble? What the heck? Does anyone had ANY clue on why? Every other game I have played on HDTV has worked fine. And...I took off the 1080i setting and still no luck...grrrr....wow...strange....
Just don't get it....hopefully someone will

Ok...I figured it out. Anyone who buys a HDTV may need to know this. My HDTV only supports 480p and 1080i but not 720p. Anyway, there are certain games that support 480p and 720p and if you have a tv that doesn't support the 720p setting and have the MS Dashborad enabling the 720p setting you will get a screen that looks like a scrambled HBO channel. Games like NHL 2004 aren't affected because they never use 720p only 480p. There is a link for a list on here if anyone needs I have that shows you what games are in what resolution for the Xbox. Very helpful.
