I think that Windows 7 is to blame, but I am unsure. I have TMPGEnc Authoring Works 4 and Nero Vision. Both worked fine on my computer with XP. After switching to Windows 7 and doing a clean install, I can get neither to work properly. Both crash mid encode. Nero Vision gives no error message while TMPGEnc causes Windows to spit out a problem with the MovieMPEG.vme module. Running either program in windows xp sp3 compatibility mode hasn't done anything.

    What can I do?

Edit: Nero Vision gives a Runtime Error and Windows says that the module at fault is NeSoundProc.ax.

Update: Tried to do a MP4 file and it worked without a problem. Suspecting that its a codec problem now. Something to do with Xvid. Anyway to confirm this?

Re-download Xvid.....to fix any corrupt file.
