hi. i have this movie file with the ending extensions of xvid.avi. basically, i have all the codecs and a regular xvid or avi file will play. but for some reason i cannot get this file to play. i believe it's the complete file and i think i played it before a long time ago. but i rar'ed it and today when i un-rar'ed it.. the file is not playing neither in winamp nor wmp or any other supported player for that matter. can you guys help? what would you suggest? thanks in advance. (p.s. i also tried renaming the file to an extension of .avi, but that didn't help.)
Get AVICodec from the software section, check the file with it and paste what it tells you about the video stream and audio stream in here!
