screwed my bios up again on always problematic x2.3b lite, about to put it on the programmer again... was wondering what bios to use. How do I get cromwell on 1 bank then 4982 on the other? It didn;t seem to work last time
are u usin xbm2(xecuter bios manager 2.1) for your link, i hope so, anyway change the type from automatic to x2 lite, you do realise that on xbm2 bank 1+2 is actually bank 1 on lite and bank 3+4 is actually bank 2 on lite. also dont bother with cromwell, there is no point. try evolution x m7, xbm2 does not recognise 4982(although that usally does not matter) but it does recognise the m7 BIOS, put it on both banks.
Why dont you just flash the whole thing by making a 1024 size bios, you can always flash from evox after if you need to update your bios at any time, I made a 1024 of the 4983, works fine for me.
ok, I will try one 1024 bios as suggested, but my understanding was you need 1 bios for bank 1 (banks 1-2 when using xbmp) and a different bios for bank 2 (banks 2-4 on xbmp) I will try anyways and post my results. Thanks for you responses!
sorry for the wait, forgot about this post... apparently my programmer or chip or both are shot, couldn't even get them to light up, giving up on xecuter and going to xenium, you should consider doing the same...
