Hi I am not even a newbie, I am a wanna be, why because I don't have a dvd-r drive yet. Well I have been wanting a drive for some time now and I was just without a breath when I went to the store and found so many different types and I just didn't know were to begin. As usual the sales persons were all their like sharks waiting of a meal and I just didn't like to be around for long just asking about this and that and come to find out that he made no sense at all. I do have a CD-RW by plextor and it is SCSI. So I guess that is were I will begin by asking what is the best SCSI DVD-R or DVD-RW that I can get for use with my SCSI card. I know there are other things like firewire and USB, but I heard the the way to go is firewire and SCSI comes next and parallel and USB are at a tie. So the 2 different types of DVD-R's I am looking for would have to be in the SCSI and second firewire. If any one can help me I would really appreciate it alot!!! Thanks
