i have a DVD player, and it plays DVDs SVCDs VCDs mp3's u name it.... but i am Very new to Xvid and i have a XVid file of a Home Movie - my mates now what would i have to do to play say a 700meg XVid file on my DVD player? any and all help will be greatly appreciated Dean
Unless you have a player that plays MPEG-4, and if you did you'd know, you have to convert it to one of the formats your player does read. For XviD I'd recommend converting to either DVD or SVCD. There is a guide here at Afterdawn for converting to DVD: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm If you want to make an SVCD instead it will require some changes, which I'm sure you can get help with on our VCD/SVCD forum.
