Xbox With 2 HD's

I am relatively knowledgeable with hardware modifications but I have not been able to figure out a way to add a second hard drive to my Xbox. I understand fundamentally why this is an impossibility but I was wondering if there was a way to even switch back and forth with out the hassle and possible damage associated with moving an IDE cable back and forth.

How about adding another hd via controller converted to usb?
