burning videos from a cell phone

    my daughter sends me videos of my grandson with her cell phone. when i download them the automatically go to realplayer. how can i get them go to another video player so i can burn them to a disc. any help will be helpful, especially since im not sure im in the right forum.

    You will need to convert the videos to a DVD compliant format first, and then burn them. That is unless you plan on playing the disc inside another computer, rather than a standalone player, in which case you could burn the files as they are and play them from the disc.

    If the former, you will need a program such as SUPER (free) to convert the files to .VOB and then a program like IMGBurn to burn them to dvd.
