Im FTP'd what files?

I have successfully FTP'd into my xbox, yay go me. I need to know exactly what files I need to take out and add. I am using this tutorial http://quikboard.com/xboxxx/part1.html I have made it up to step 5. Originally what was in the XBOX was;
c>xboxdash.xbe, xbox.xtf, Xbox book.xtf, settings_adoc.xip;{the folders} Fonts, Audio, xboxdashdata.185ead00, xodash

c>Fonts> xbox.xtf, xbox book.xtf

I have Evo_x and the bert and ernie exploits. Every time I try and do what the tutorial says I get the screen of death. Any suggestions or tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

go to the forums, then go to dashboard exploits, then read the guide on the "ultimate dashboard exploit"

also if you xbox is new it wont work as the BIOS will be unexploitable

 

My xbox is about 1 1/2 years old.

 

if you dont care about xbox live you may as well do a tsop flash(flash the onboard chip) its less complecated than the exploit method.

even if you get evox runnin on your unmodded xbox you will still not be able to play copied games untill you ftp a sighned phonix bios loader on it with a special BFM bios.

trust me.. tsop it(its free)

 

Oh man Im confused. I really dont care about Xlive because I can just use X-connect. I downloaded the Pheonix thing but where do I go from here?

 

im telling you DONT exploit it, your xbox might not even be compatable, tsop it, you dont need phonix for a tsop, pm me your email address and i will help you out.

(phonix is for the exploit....soryy if i dint make it clear in my last post)

 

ok Im thinking that the TSOP is harder. For one thing, it involves opening your XBOX and soldering. If I could just use the mechassault save game hack and then do the rest of it where you use a dos prompt that would be better.
