I was trying to back up a PS2 game but when I make the image it exceed 4.7 GB to be precise it was almost 8 GB. I told a friend about it and he told me that some of his pals can compress DVD games into CD, but they don't want to tell how. Is it possible to do that or were they lying? If it's possible, how can I do that? And also can I apply the same process to compress that image of 8 GB into a DVD disk?

If it is 8GB then that means that it is a DVD-9 game. The only thing you can do, that I know about, is to find a rip kit so that it can fit on a dvd-5(under 4.7GB.) Maybe that is whatt your friend was talking about because I doubt there is any way to fit a DVD-9 game to single cd-r.
