Panasonic DMR-E30 Disabling Macrovision

Suspended due non-functional email address
Can anybody help? I have a DMR-E30 and I wish to copy some of my videos but the Macrovision is stopping me. Does anybody know how to disable it on this without using a modchip?

I own a DMR-HS2 and I can't even record a back-up of my out of print VHS movies onto DVD-R. What gives!? There should be a device to correct this.
