New here, and wondering whether i can use dvd decrypter to backup a ps2 cdr games or do i use nero. from what i have read the majority seem to favor using decrypter over nero for ps2 dvd backups.

Your talking about 2 different applications. DVD Decrypter will not back up cd based games only dvd based products. So to answer your question, to back up a cd based game you should use Nero or CDRWIN cd copy fucntion set to the lowest speed your burner will allow.

Kravenoff, wtf are u on about, lol, DVD Decrypter was MADE for DVD based products ! For 1:1 copies of ps2 games use ISO--> Read, ISO--> Write, it couldn't be any simpler.
