i have my ps2 game which is badly scratched i have extracted the files on to my hard drive but i was wondering if it is possible to convert these files to a bin and cue file if so how do i do it? or do you know how i burn the files i have on to disc as when i do it my ps2 doesnt read it

You could just create an iso image file of the game using DVD Decrypter (free) and then you can just write the iso file to a dvd-r. A guide on how to do it can be found here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/15105 .

if your game is badly scratched you might want to try writing on it with a china marker (grease pencil)that seems to help with the reading of the disc. i have used this on all types of disc and it has worked better than my disc doctor. try it and see.
