can you back up a ps2 game and play it with uot the need of a mod chip or stuff like that?

Afraid not. Modding isn't cheap or easy and if there was a way to avoid it we would. Only other options is to use a swap method.

YES,you can back-up PS2 Cd-r's and PS2 DVD's with DVD Decrypter 3.2.2.0,Without the need for a modchip,Just swap it with Swap Magic DVD 2.0. But I won't lie some games are a pain in the ass to get play back.
